• Part of the team (Motor new business) responsible for system testing within a large Technical Integration Programme for merging Churchill Insurance & Direct Line Insurance systems into a common set of systems which can be used across the newly formed RBS Insurance.
• Produce full and accurate test scripts for motor insurance policies and quotes.
• Specified and created detailed test cases that prove new functionality from the functional requirement documentation.
• Tested migrated data from Legacy system to a staging area containing temporary tables (Toad) before migration into Oracle 8I Relational Database.
• Executed the test scripts on an IBM Mainframe (3270), captured metrics in the test log for management reporting.
• Carried out Direct Line real time statistics testing on Motor insurance policies.
• Relevant System testing carried out to ensure that all areas of RBS Insurance are compliant with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) General Insurance regulations according to Insurance Conduct of Business (ICOB) rulebook.
• Utilised Test Director to keep defect Tracking and resolution of bugs.
